Dewey Gradient

16 Aug

I wish I could have seen the picture Ackeene described in her comment. I had to do my best to imagine what it might look like. Of course, I imagined a gradient.

I dug through my stash for find the colors that I thought would go best together. I started with a white base coat so the colors would pop more. My colors are Sinful Colors Happy Ending, Sally Hansen Hypnotic Pink, OPI I’m Not Really a Waitress and OPI Plugged-In Plum.

The picture that was described was a macro shot of a leaf with dew drops on it. After I applied two coats of Cult Nails Wicked Fast, I tried to create some dew drops on my nails. They are a little difficult to see in the photos. To give the illusion of drops of water I used a dotting tool and added spots of Color Club Femme Fatale.

This look reminds me of a piece of fruity hard candy. It looks like it would taste like watermelon, maybe. Yummy.
